This fuckin' place killed her. The personality it gave her--the sick fuckin' way it made her operate...that's what killed her. The freakshow running this world is to blame for that.
[She picks up her handgun and pops out the clip. She's only used a couple bullets so far, scaring someone away. She fishes around in her pocket, takes out a couple more and fills the empty spaces before sliding the clip back into place and resettling the weapon at the back of her jeans.]

[Carefully, slowly, she eases Lua's head off of her lap and gently rests it against the ground. Standing up, she removes her long jacket and lays it over as much of Lua as it will cover; from her head down to just under her knees. She could never leave her body exposed, but she doesn't have time to dig a grave. Every one of her actions is performed with an almost painful tenderness. She kneels down and smooths the jacket over her inmate's body, talking to her in a low murmur.]
