Perhaps not, but those who coddle bigots are. I imagine it feels horrible when someone tells you you're lesser than others, just for being Jewish. Imagine the hurt of those who are publicly disparaged for being scarred, or having unusual appearances, only to have no relief from the insults because the culprit's warden is soft on him.
