Forgiving doesn't mean forgetting. If you never did any of those things and if none of those things happened to you? You'd probably be leading a really different, maybe happier life somewhere else, but you wouldn't be the same person. You wouldn't be as strong. You wouldn't understand a lot of things you do now.

Cecil didn't even want to do it! He was worried about Jill, but all I cared about was getting my next hit and I fuckin' bullied him into going in. I didn't want it to happen, but I sure as hell didn't care enough not to set it up!

Gideon was an innocent. A baby. And he's dead because I was selfish.

It doesn't matter. He's still dead, and I took him from the people I loved most in the world.

I didn't ask you if he would keep it from him. I asked if he could. Even after he died he seemed to be ten steps ahead of him.

I would have known. John wouldn't have just...never brought it up to me! We spent most of every day together!

I think he was ready to forgive you once you passed your last test.

The point is that forgiveness shouldn't cost like that, though.

He couldn't have treated me like his daughter if he knew I was responsible for the loss of his son!
