[Amanda is, as the title says, sitting on a cot in a cell in Level 0. What else is new? This time her left hand is bandaged, but aside from that she looks none the worse for wear. She actually managed to sneak a shower in before getting caught, and tricked Angelica into letting her change into clean clothes, so she's not even the tiniest bit bloody.]

I meant it when I said Mark Hoffman failed his test and permanently forfeited his life. I also meant it when I said I would not rest in avenging my family.

[No "people of the Barge" this time? No, because this isn't focused on a "lesson."]

Yesterday, I attacked him in the hall and carved open his throat, severing his carotid artery. I even managed to indulge in a shower to remove the stink of his blood before being apprehended.

The point is, none of you heard a thing. His execution, from beginning to end, was almost completely silent.

[She looks SO self-satisfied right now, which...everyone should be used to by now. Unfortunately, smug is one of her main operational modes.]

You can't stop me from making him pay, so you should save yourselves some grief and quit while you're ahead. In life, he took everything from me...and it's time I returned the fuckin' favor.

[She looks past the camera for a moment before refocusing her vision upon the screen.]

My warden has decided that after killing someone is a good time to watch me--literally. She's sitting outside my cell as I speak, staring at me, and I'm not sure why. It's not going to change the past and undo Hoffman's retribution. Are you trying to unsettle me, Sarah? It's not going to work.

[She grins, predatory.]

Finally: Hoffman. "Detective" Mark Hoffman; the mistake, the inferior apprentice. A question, if you don't mind. Do you regret betraying John yet?

[A short pause.]

I've been given eternity to make that happen.
